How it works
Send your repo
Paste the link to your public GitHub repository and tell us what to highlight.
We check it right away
We confirm the repo is public and fits the channel. If something needs fixing, you see it here and can send it again.
Book your slot
A free video is booked instantly. A paid one is booked when you pay with Stripe, and we email you the date.
We publish the Reel
We write the script from your README, record the video and publish it at your slot. You get the link by email.
Submit your repo
The check takes a few seconds. Nothing is charged until you pay.
Price
Your first video is free (one per email) while the channel has under 1,000 followers.
After that, each platform costs 1 USD per 1,000 channel followers, with a 1 USD minimum.
You see the exact total before paying. Payment is through Stripe and accepts promotion codes.
@git.loco posts Spanish-language Reels about open-source projects: what they do, why they matter and how to try them in a minute.
Questions
Which repos do you accept?
Public GitHub repositories. We don’t accept projects centred on sexual content, drugs, weapons, gambling, illegal activity or partisan politics.
When is my video published?
At the channel’s first free sponsored slot. We show you the date in your local time and email it to you.
Can I write the script?
No. We write it from your README and what you ask us to highlight. Your hint guides the video but isn’t read out word for word.
What if publishing fails?
We try again at the next free slot, up to three times. If it still doesn’t go out, we refund what you paid for that platform.
Why do you ask for my Instagram?
It’s optional. With a public account we invite you as a collaborator: accept the invite and the Reel also shows on your profile. A private account can’t be invited.
Can I delete the Reel later?
The Reel stays published on the channel. If there’s a problem with it, write to us and we’ll look at it.
